What the numbers say
- The price range is wide. The most expensive (Seedance 2.5) cost almost 6 times the cheapest (Veo 3.1 Lite) for the same prompt.
- Cheap does not mean fast. Hailuo 3 Max was the fastest (23 s) and cost twice Veo Lite. Wan 3.0 cost little but was the slowest: almost 12 times Hailuo's time.
- Expensive does not mean slow. Kling 3.0 Pro delivered 1080p in under 2 minutes, well before Seedance 2.5.
